Sesame salmon

    sesame seeds - toasted
  • 600
    salmon, or hake fillets - defrosted and patted dry
  • 60
    hoisin sauce - or ponzu sauce
  • 2
    limes - peel and juice of
  • 2
    packets Just Steam Asian-style vegetables
  • 2
    PnP Finest extra-virgin olive oil - or sesame oil
  • 1
    packet Chinese noodles
Servings: Change Serving


Reserve 1 Tbsp (15ml) sesame seeds and dip fish in remaining seeds.

Mix ponzu and lime juice and peel, reserved sesame seeds and 1½ Tbsp (23ml) olive oil together and set aside.
Heat remaining oil in a pan and fry fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side or until just cooked through and still a little pink in the centre.

Remove from heat. Pour dressing over fish. Cook vegetables and noodles according to packet instructions. Serve with fish.

More good ideas: Serve with steamed rice instead of noodles. Roast fish if you prefer.
