Sesame fritters

Ingredients (5)

120 g flour — self-raising
225 ml water
2 Tbs honey
sunflower oil — for frying
25 g sesame seeds — lightly toasted

Method:

Toast sesame seeds over medium-heat, shaking the pan regularly – if they stay put, the seeds will start jumping like popping popcorn and set seeds aside.
 
Combine the flour, the water and 1 tbsp of honey to make a soft but firmish dough.
 
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan and pour ¼ of the mixture.

As soon as it thickens, flip it a few times to cook it in on both sides.

Continue in this way with the other 3 fritters following the given instructions and serve them hot with the rest of the honey and sprinkle with the sesame seeds

Chefs serving suggestion 1: Fresh mozzarella and ripe tomatoes and a slice of Parma ham.

Chefs serving suggestion 2: Seared tuna/salmon of fillet of fish with an avo, tomato, lemon and basil salsa.
