Ingredients (8)

250.00 g chicken — skinned, deboned
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
3.00 ml ginger — ground
10.00 ml cornflour
1.00 eggs — whites only, lightly beaten
6.00 white bread — thinly sliced
75.00 ml sesame seeds
oil — for deep frying

Method:

1. Place chicken in a food processor and mince; add garlic, ginger, cornflour, seasoning and egg white.
2. Remove crusts from bread and spread minced mixture over one side of each slice.
3. Dip bread, mince-side-down, into sesame seeds to coat.
4. Just before serving, deep-fry toasts in hot oil until golden brown, drain on kitchen paper and sprinkle lightly with salt.
