    butter

    golden syrup

    ml
    water
  • 7
    ml
    bicarbonate of soda

    sesame seeds
  • 15

    aniseed
  • 30
    g
    poppy seeds
  • 75
    g
    sunflower seeds
 

Method

10‑15 minutes
 
Combine oats, bran, flour, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl and set aside.
Melt butter, syrup and water in a saucepan over low heat.
Remove from the heat and stir in bicarbonate of soda until mixture froths. Add to dry ingredients with seeds. Stir well.
Shape mixture into small balls and place on a lightly greased baking tray leaving space in between for spreading. Flatten balls with a fork.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ºC for 10 to 15 minutes or until biscuits are evenly browned.
