Ingredients

  • 300
    g
    crabsticks
  • 60
    ml
    mayonnaise
  • 30
    ml
    milk
  • 20
    ml
    tomato sauce
  • 10
    ml
    lemon juice
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 3
    lettuce leaves, shredded
  • 1
    avocado pear, peeled and cubed
  • lemon slices to garnish
  • chives, to garnish
 

Method

Place crabsticks in a saucepan and cover with hot water. Simmer for one minute. Drain and place crabsticks in cold water. Mix together mayonnaise, milk, tomato sauce, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Drain crabsticks and slice into 5 mm slices. Pour mayonnaise mixture over the slices and toss gently to coat. Place shredded lettuce on four plates or bowls. Top with avocado cubes and a spoonful of crabstick mixture. Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and garnish with lemon slices and chives.
