Savoy cabbage and beef bites with tzatziki

  • 300
    steak of your choice
  • olive oil to rub the steak
  • seasoning for the steak
  • 8
    savoy cabbage leaves
  • 2
    carrots, sliced into ribbons
  • 1
    full cream plain yogurt
  • 1/2
    grated cucumber, drained
  • a squeeze or two fresh lemon juice
  • salt and black pepper


Heat your grill pan to scorching hot. Rub the steak with olive oil and sear for a few minutes on each side until done, mine was medium rare. Season and set aside.
Arrange the cabbage leaves on a plate, fill it with sliced carrot. Slice the steak and add it on top of the carrot.
In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, grated cucumber and lemon juice. Season with salt and black pepper.
Serve the cabbage and beef bites with tzatziki.
