    milk
  • 5
    extra-large eggs
  • 60
    g
    cake flour
  • 1
    small onion, finely chopped
  • 2
    ml
    dried origanum
  • pinch salt
  • black pepper, freshly ground
  • 180
    g
    Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 100
    ml
    Parmesan cheese
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 200 ºC (400 ºF). Grease a 25 cm pie dish with margarine. Place the milk, eggs, cake flour, onion, origanum, salt and black pepper to taste in the bowl of a food processor and process thoroughly. Pour into the prepared pie dish. Mix the Cheddar and Parmesan cheeses and sprinkle on top. Bake for about 25 minutes or until the filling has set. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving. Makes a medium tart.
