Savoury butternut bake

    large butternut peeled, seeded and cubed
  • 1
    packet brown onion soup
  • 250
    ml
    cream
  • 100
    ml
    milk
  • dried breadcrumbs and parsley
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC and butter a 30 cm oven dish. Place the cubed butternut in the dish. Mix the soup powder with the cream and milk and pour over the butternut. Combine the breadcrumbs and parsley and sprinkle on top. Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown and done. Serves 6-8.
