Sausages and prunes poached in orange juice

Ingredients (6)

8.00 sausages — pork
375.00 ml orange juice
12.00 prunes — soaked, cooked
5.00 ml cinnamon — ground
15.00 ml brown sugar
2.00 oranges — cut into segments

Method:

Prick sausages and place in a frying pan. Add orange juice and prunes and bring to the boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
Transfer sausages to a baking tray. Slash with a knife and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Brown under a preheated grill and serve with prunes and orange segments. Serve with baps or other fresh rolls.
Serves 4.
