Sausage and wedge cones

    potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • 40
    chipolata sausages
  • 60
    sunflower oil
  • spice rub of your choice (Mexican or barbecue flavours are good)

Divide potato wedges between two baking trays.
Drizzle with oil and toss to coat.
Sprinkle with the spice rub.
Bake in a preheated 200 °C oven for about 40 minutes, until the wedges are crisp and cooked through.
While the potatoes are baking, fry the sausages and set aside.
Makes cones out of pieces of thick baking paper.
Stick pictures of your favourite pop stars onto the cones.
Once the potatoes are cooked, spoon them into the cones, along with the sausages.
Drizzle with tomato sauce if desired and serve hot.
