Ingredients

    cup
    white sugar
  • 1
    cup
    oil
  • 1
    tsp
    salt
  • 300
    g
    Stalk maragarine
  • 3
    eggs
  • 2
    cup
    buttermilk
  • 1 1/2
    cup
    muesli
  • 1 1/2
    cup
    All Bran
  • 1
    cup
    Nutty Wheat flour
  • 1
    kg
    self raising flour
 

Method

5 hours 45 mins
 
Melt margarine and salt.
Place in bowl and add sugar and oil.
Mix together till light and frothy.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add buttermilk and mix well.
Use a wooden spoon to mix in muesli, All Bran and Nutty Wheat. Stir well.
Add self raising flour and mix well.
Place in a pan and bake at 180 °C for 45 mins.
After 45 min remove rusks from oven, cut them into the size you prefer and put them on a wire rack.
Reduce oven to 50 °C and bake rusks for a further 5 hours, or until dry.
