Rooibos tea fruit punch

    rooibos tea leaves
  • 750
    ml
    boiling water
  • 200
    g
    sugar
  • 2
    Litres
    orange juice
  • 410
    g
    fruit cocktail
  • 1
    Litres
    ginger ale, chilled
  • 1
    Litres
    soda water, chilled
  • 40
    ml
    lemon juice
 

Method

 
Place the tea in a large container and add the boiling water. Leave to draw until the tea is infused, but not too strong. Strain and reserve the tea. Add the sugar to the hot tea and stir until dissolved. Cool. Add the orange juice and fruit cocktail and chill until ice cold. Add the ginger ale, soda water and lemon juice just before serving with slices of lemon. Makes 5 litres of punch.
