Red three-bean salad

    quantity basic tomato sauce
  • 2
    cans green beans, drained
  • 2
    cans butter beans, drained
  • 2
    cans beans in tomato sauce
  • 2
    onions, chopped
  • 2
    green peppers, seeded and diced
  • few sultanas


Prepare the tomato sauce as described, add the remaining ingredients to the boiling sauce and bring to the boil once more. Spoon into hot sterilised jars and seal immediately. Makes 2,5 litres salad.
