Ingredients (9)

2.00 cinnamon — stick
10.00 cloves — whole
20.00 ml rooibos tea — loose
1.00 Litres water — boiled
500.00 g sugar
750.00 ml orange juice
250.00 ml lemon juice
ice — cubes
1.00 orange — thinly sliced

Method:

Place the stick cinnamon, cloves and loose Rooibos tea (or use two Rooibos tea bags) in a saucepan on the stove and pour over the boiling water. Add the sugar, stirring continuously so that the sugar dissolves before the mixture comes to the boil. Boil the mixture for 5 minutes. Cool and strain the liquid through a sieve. Add the fruit juice and ice cubes just before serving. Pour into pretty glasses and decorate each with a slice of orange if desired.
Makes 2,2 litres.
