Ingredients (6)

50.00 g hazelnuts — chopped
100.00 ml castor sugar
200.00 g grapes — seedless red
60.00 ml coffee liqueur
3.00 cloves
1.00 Litres ice cream — berry

Method:

To make praline, heat the hazelnuts and sugar in a saucepan until the sugar has melted and turned a caramel colour.
Allow to harden and cool, then break into pieces and chop coarsely.
Heat the grapes, liqueur and cloves together until simmering.
Remove from heat and serve over ice cream, sprinkled with the hazelnut liqueur.

Variation
Roll up some readymade pancakes with ice cream, red grapes and hazelnut praline, or serve the fruit on waffles or in phyllo pastry baskets.
You could also use sliced peaches instead of grapes in this recipe.
