  • 6
    large quinces, skinned, cored and sliced
  • 125
    ml
    Van der Hum liqueur
  • 3
    cinnamon sticks
  • 50
    ml
    butter
  • 30
    ml
    brown sugar
 

Method

 
Place the quinces in a saucepan with all the other ingredients and simmer slowly until the quinces are tender. Serve lukewarm with cream or as a side dish with pork. Serves 4-6.
