    quinces, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 2
    onions, sliced
  • 15
    ml
    grated fresh ginger
  • 500
    g
    white sugar
  • 500
    ml
    white wine vinegar
  • 5
    ml
    salt
 

Method

 
Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 30 minutes or until sticky and syrupy.
Makes 500 ml
