Quick toasted cheese sandwich

    Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 80

    milk
  • 15
    ml
    cake flour
  • 30
    ml
    fresh breadcrumbs
  • 5
    ml
    mustard powder
  • dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1
    egg
  • 1
    egg yolk
  • salt and pepper
 

Method

 
Switch on the oven grill. Arrange the slices of bread on a baking sheet and toast on one side. Turn, and set aside. Heat the Cheddar cheese and milk until the cheese has melted. Remove from the heat and add the remaining ingredients. Stir well and season with salt and pepper. Spoon the mixture on top of the bread slices and toast again until lightly browned. Serve immediately.
