Quick spicy peach salad

Ingredients (7)

822 g peaches, sliced — tinned, in light syrup, drained
120 ml raisins — or sultanas
15 ml rose water
15 ml rum
10 ml mixed spice
60 ml peaches — tinned, syrup reserved
flaked coconut — sweetened, decorating

Method:

Lightly toss together the the peach slices, raisins and the spices in a bowl.
In a separate bowl mix together the rose water, rum, and reserved peach syrup.
Slowly fold the syrup mixture into the fruit mixture.
If desired, sprinkle with sweetened flaked coconut.
Serve with cottage cheese, whipped cream and vanilla sugar, or almond praline ice cream.
