Quick peach clafoutis

    g
    cans peach halves in natural juice, drained
  • 15
    ml
    self-raising flour
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 500
    ml
    readymade custard
  • toasted flaked almonds or ground cinnamon to garnish
 

Method

 
Place peaches on absorbent paper and pat dry. Beat flour and eggs together until smooth, then whisk into custard, mixing well. Arrange peaches in a 22 cm diameter flan dish. Pour custard mixture over and spread out evenly. Bake at 200 ºC for 25 to 30 minutes, or until custard is set. Decorate with flaked almonds or cinnamon and serve.
