Quick meat loaf

    mince
  • 46

    brown onion soup powder
  • 175
    ml
    plain yoghurt
  • 1
    extra-large egg
  • 80
    ml
    Cheddar cheese, grated
 

Method

1 1/2 hrs
 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350ºF). Spray a large 24 x 12 x 8 - cm loaf tin with non-stick spray. Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl until well blended. Turn into the loaf tin, spreading the mixture evenly. Cover with aluminium foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Remove the aluminium foil after 1 hour. Remove the loaf from the gravy in the tin and slice. Thicken the gravy with cornflour and serve with the meat slices and mashed potato if desired. Makes one medium-sized loaf.
