Ingredients (5)

15.00 ml oil
1.00 onion — large, grated
450.00 g jam — smooth, apricot
125.00 ml vinegar — brown
5.00 ml cayenne pepper

Method:

Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion until soft. Cool and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well and spoon into a clean jar. Refrigerate until needed.
Makes 500 ml chutney.
