  • 15
    ml
    oil
  • 1
    large onion, grated
  • 450
    g
    smooth apricot jam
  • 125
    ml
    brown vinegar
  • 5
    ml
    cayenne pepper
 

Method

 
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion until soft. Cool and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well and spoon into a clean jar. Refrigerate until needed. Makes 500 ml chutney.
