Ingredients (10)

400.00 g puff pastry — defrosted
620.00 g pumpkin — cooked, mashed
3.00 eggs — beaten
100.00 g sugar
7.00 ml cinnamon — ground
5.00 ml ginger — ground
2.00 ml nutmeg — ground
100.00 ml cream
2.00 ml vanilla — essence
pecan nuts — chopped

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200 ºC (400 ºF).
Roll out the puff pastry and use to line a 23 cm diameter tart dish.
Make a plait with the remaining dough and decorate the circumference of the dish with it.
Chill, brush the crust with a littler milk and bake for about 10 minutes. Mix the rest of the ingredients and spoon the mixture into the crust.
Turn the oven down to 180 ºC (350 ºF) and bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the filling has set.
Decorate with chopped pecan nuts and serve hot.
