Prunes in port

  • top quality prunes
  • 2
    slices orange peel
  • 1
    stick cinnamon
  • port
 

Method

 
1. Fill a sterilised jar to two thirds with prunes. 2. Add orange peel and cinnamon to the jar. 3. Top up with port and leave for 1 month before using. It will keep indefinitely.
