  • 550
    g
    mashed potatoes
  • 2
    whole eggs
  • 2
    yolks
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 75
    g
    butter, melted
  • 30
    g
    chopped walnuts
  • olive oil for frying
 

Method

 
1. Separate 1 egg, whisk up the white, set aside. Beat remaining egg and all yolks together, mix with potatoes, nuts, butter and seasoning. 2. Shape into small balls, dip into egg white and place in hot oil until golden brown. Drain and serve with grilled beef.
