    onions, finely chopped

    cake flour

    full cream milk powder

    white onion soup powder

    milk
  • 250
    ml
    water
  • 5
    ml
    salt
  • pepper to taste

    Cheddar cheese, grated
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ° F). Spray an ovenproof dish with non-stick spray. Boil the potato slices in salted water until soft. Arrange in the prepared oven dish. Sauté the onion in the butter until soft. Add the cake flour, milk powder and onion soup powder and mix. Add small quantities of milk at a time while stirring continuously. Add the water and stir well. Heat until the sauce simmers and thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste and pour over the potatoes. Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Serve with chicken and a salad. Serves 4.
