Pork with honey and roast apples

    medium apples, quartered
  • 30
    ml
    honey
  • 60
    ml
    butter
  • 15
    ml
    olive oil
  • salt and milled pepper to taste
  • 600
    g
    pork fillets
 

Method

15 minutes
 
Preheat oven to 220 ºC. Place apples on a baking sheet. Place honey and butter in a small saucepan and cook, stirring, over low heat until melted and combined. Pour over apples and toss to coat well. Heat oil in a frying pan and season pork fillets. Fry fillets on each side for 2 minutes. Remove and add to apples. Roast for 10 minutes in oven. Remove from oven and slice pork thickly. Serve immediately with apples and pan juices poured over, accompanied by roast new potatoes and roast garlic.
