Pork spare ribs with lemon

    pork spare ribs
  • salt and cayenne pepper

    golden syrup
  • 100
    orange juice
  • 2
    oranges, skinned and sliced


Switch on the oven grill. Place the rib on the rack of an oven roasting tin. Season with salt and cayenne pepper to taste. Blend the syrup and orange juice and brush the ribs with the mixture. Grill for about 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown on both sides and cooked. Brush frequently with the basting mixture. Place the orange slices on top of the ribs just before the end of the cooking time. Cut the ribs into sections and serve with roast potatoes, a scoop of sour cream and a green salad.
