Pork sausages in ginger beer

    pork sausages
  • oil for frying
  • 100
    g
    whole fresh button mushrooms (optional)
  • 3
    carrots, scraped and thinly sliced
  • 340
    ml
    ginger beer
  • 63
    g
    thick vegetable soup powder
 

Method

 
Fry the pork sausages in a little oil until browned. Add the mushrooms and fry until lightly browned. Add the carrot strips and stir-fry lightly. Mix the ginger beer with the soup powder and add. Reduce the heat and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly and the sausages are done. Serve with mashed potato and peas or a salad. Serves 4.
