    ground allspice
  • 300
    ml
    plum preserve
  • 100
    ml
    water
  • 2
    extra-large eggs
  • 200
    ml
    seedless raisins
  • 100
    ml
    chopped pecan nuts
 

Method

 
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl in the order listed and pour cake mixture into a greased and lined 27 x 23 cm roasting pan. Bake at 170 ºC for 30 minutes on bottom shelf of oven, or until a skewer inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool and cut into squares. Dust with a little icing sugar. TOTAL KILOJOULE COUNT: 21 865 kJ (5 225 Cal). A portion: 3 645kJ (870 Cal).
