    cake flour

    salt
  • 5
    ml
    sugar
  • 25
    ml
    margarine
  • 10

    instant dried yeast
  • 330
    ml
    lukewarm water

    tomato paste
  • ham and salami slices, chopped
  • fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 500
    ml
    uncoloured cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper to taste
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 220 °C (420 °F). Mix the flour, salt and sugar and rub in the margarine until well blended. Add the instant yeast and mix with water to form a soft, manageable dough. Knead until smooth and elastic, cover and leave to rest for 10 minutes in a warm place. Knock down, divide in half and roll each half into a 30 cm circle. Place the dough circles on greased baking sheets, spread with tomato paste and sprinkle ham, salami and mushrooms on top. Sprinkle generously with the cheese and season with salt and pepper. Cover and leave to rise for about 10 minutes. Bake for about 10 minutes in preheated oven or until the crust is done and the cheese has melted. Makes two large pizzas.
