  • 250
    ml
    water
  • 80
    ml
    oil
  • 1
    ml
    bicarbonate of soda
  • pinch salt
  • 625
    ml
    cake flour
  • honey
  • sprinkle nuts
 

Method

 
Mix the water, oil, bicarbonate of soda, salt and cake flour to form a dough and leave to rest for 1 hour.
Pinch off pieces of dough and on a floured surface roll out to 2 mm thick.
Heat enough oil in a saucepan to deep-fry the piticas.
Fry until golden brown and crisp.
Drain on paper towels and arrange on a baking sheet.
Drizzle with honey and sprinkle nuts on top.
