Healthy pita breads

    cup
    Millet flour
  • 1
    cup
    Natures Choice Gluten Free Cake Flour
  • 1
    tsp
    salt
  • 2
    tsp
    baking powder
  • 1
    egg
  • 30
    ml
    olive oil
  • 15
    ml
    honey
  • 150
    ml
    water
 

Method

Preheat the oven to 160.
Combine the dry ingredients and make a well in the centre.
Whisk together the wet ingredients.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until combined.
On a greased baking tray, divide the mixture into four, leaving enough space between so that the mixture can spread when you shape it.
Using the back of a spoon, shape the dough into pita circles.
Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the base has browned.
Flip over and brown the other side. +- 10 minutes more.
