    oil
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 410
    g
    tomato and onion mixture
  • 50
    ml
    white wine
  • 50
    ml
    water
  • 5
    ml
    dried basil
  • salt
  • pepper
 

Method

 
Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the garlic. Add remaining ingredients and season to taste with salt and pepper. Heat until the sauce thickens. Serve with mincemeat parcels (see recipe).
