Ingredients (9)

8.00 chicken — portions
salt
freshly ground black pepper
braai spice
2.00 onions — sliced into rings
1.00 green pepper — cut into strips
285.00 g mushrooms — creamed
250.00 ml yoghurt — natural
250.00 ml cream — fresh

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.

Season the chicken portions with salt, pepper and braai spice. Fry until nicely browned and drain on kitchen towelling. Fry the onion rings until slightly browned and spoon into the greased oven dish. Place the chicken pieces on top and arrange the green pepper strips on top of the chicken. Mix the mushrooms, yoghurt and cream and pour over the chicken.

Cover and bake for about an hour until the chicken is tender.
