  • low-GI mini hamburger buns
  • 1
    Tbs
    tomato sauce
  • 1
    Tbs
    chutney
  • 2
    home-made mini beef burger patties
  • 1
    thin slice pineapple - grilled and halved
  • 2
    lettuce leaves
 

Method

Cut the burger buns in half and spread the tomato sauce and chutney over half of each bun.

Place the mini burger patties onto the hamburger buns and top each burger with a pineapple half.

Place the lettuce over the pineapple and close the burgers with the remaining halves of the buns.

Note: Wrap the burger in tinfoil to prevent it from coming apart in the lunchbox.
