    white sugar
  • 225
    ml
    white wine or grape vinegar
  • 15
    ml
    balsamic vinegar
  • 7

    peppercorns, crushed
  • 1
    cinnamon stick
  • 350
    g
    white and black grapes, washed
 

Method

 
Place the sugar and vinegar in a pan and heat until the sugar has dissolved. Add the peppercorns and cinnamon stick and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the grapes. Spoon into clean sterilised jars and seal. Leave for at least 3 weeks before using. Makes about 700 ml.
