  • 1
    handful
    pine nuts lightly toasted
  • 90
    g
    basil
  • 1
    cloves
    garlic
  • 1
    tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1
    pinch
    maldon sea salt
  • 2
    Tbs
    parmesan cheese grated
  • Olive oil
 

Method

5 mins
 
Add the pine nuts to a food processor and blitz until broken into pieces.

Keeping the food processor on, add the garlic.

Then add the basil, lemon juice, salt and parmesan.

When the basil is chopped switch to a low speed while slowly pouring in olive oil.

Do this until the basil is well covered with olive oil.

Store in a sterilized jar.
