Peppadew, onion and cheese ring

    quantity basic white bread dough (see recipe)

    peppadews, halved
  • 2
    red onions, sliced
  • 100
    grated mature Cheddar cheese


Follow recipe for basic white bread. After first rising, roll dough out into long strip about 10 cm wide. Sprinkle with halved peppadews, sliced red onions and grated cheese. Carefully roll up the dough and place in a greased and lined 20 cm round cake tin. Allow to rise until double in size, then bake at 220 ºC for 30-40 minutes or until cooked through. Serve sliced or cut into wedges.
