Ingredients (8)

30.00 ml vinegar — balsamic
salt
250.00 g puff pastry — homemade or frozen
100.00 g parmesan cheese — shaved
TOPPING
10.00 ml fresh chillies — 573
15.00 ml pine nuts — roasted
4.00 pears — or apples, cored and wedges
freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Preheat oven to 200 ºC. Roll out the pastry on a floured board to a 12 x 30 cm rectangle. Lightly brush surface of pastry with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden.
TOPPING
Pile pears or apples, pine kernels and Parmesan cheese on top of pastry. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and serve.
Serves 6.
