Peanut butter porridge

Ingredients

  • 240
    g
    mielie meal
  • 3 to 4 large
    Tbs
    peanut butter
  • 1
    Litres
    boiling water
  • 500
    ml
    cold water
  • sugar or honey to taste
 

Method

Boil 1L of water on the stove. Mix the mielie meal and cold water together to form a paste and add to the boiling water, stirring regularly.
Cook for 15 minutes. Add the peanut butter and cook for a further 5 minutes.
Add sugar or honey to taste.
