    g
    butter
  • 80
    ml
    castor sugar
  • 125
    ml
    peanut butter
  • 1
    egg
  • 45
    ml
    golden syrup
  • 310
    ml
    self-raising flour
  • chopped peanuts for sprinkling
 

Method

 

Preheat oven to 180 °C.
Cream together butter and castor sugar.
Beat in peanut butter, egg and golden syrup.
Add self-raising flour and mix.
Roll into a sausage, cover with clingfilm and chill.
Cut into slices, sprinkle with chopped peanuts and bake for 10 minutes until pale brown.
