Peach and oats crumble

    caramel brown sugar

    cake flour

    ground cinnamon

    salt

    butter or margarine
  • 2
    kg
    peach halves, drained
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Combine the oats, brown sugar, cake flour, cinnamon and salt together in a mixing bowl. Rub in the butter or margarine with your fingertips until well blended. Arrange the peach halves in an ovenproof dish and sprinkle the oats mixture on top. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the topping is pale brown. Serve hot or cold with custard or cream for dessert or with stiffly whipped cream for tea. Serves 6.
