  • 300
    g
    uncooked rice
  • 250
    g
    rindless bacon
  • 1
    large green pepper, diced
  • 2
    onions, sliced
  • 300
    g
    button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1
    ml
    paprika
  • 25
    ml
    fresh parsley, chopped
 

Method

 
Cook the rice, drain and keep warm. Fry the bacon until crisp, remove from the pan and set aside. Sauté the green pepper and onion in the pan fat until soft. Add the mushrooms and sauté until brown. Add all the ingredients to the rice, blending lightly with a fork. Season with paprika and parsley. Serve hot.
