Pasta with pork sausage meat balls

    pork sausages, casings removed

    green pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 410
    tomato and onion mix OR 1 onion, finely chopped and 3 tomatoes, skinned and finely chopped
  • salt and black pepper to taste

    dried thyme
  • nutmeg

    spaghetti, cooked

Shape the pork sausage meat into balls and fry in a little oil until brown on the outside. Set aside. Sauté the green pepper and garlic in the pan until soft. Add the tomato and onion mix and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly. Return the meatballs to the pan and simmer until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper, thyme and a pinch of nutmeg. Serve with spaghetti. Serves 4-6.
