Pasta with pork sausage meat balls

Ingredients (9)

500.00 g sausages — pork, casings removed
oil
1.00 green pepper — deseeded and diced
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
410.00 g tomato and onion mix
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
2.00 ml dried thyme
nutmeg — ground
250.00 g pasta — spaghetti, cooked

Method:

Shape the pork sausage meat into balls and fry in a little oil until brown on the outside. Set aside. Sauté the green pepper and garlic in the pan until soft. Add the tomato and onion mix and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly. Return the meatballs to the pan and simmer until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper, thyme and a pinch of nutmeg. Serve with spaghetti.
Serves 4-6.
