Ingredients (11)

410.00 g pasta — spaghetti in tomato sauce
1.00 onion — finely chopped
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
oil
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
fresh oregano — or basil
300.00 g bully beef — cubed
2.00 tomatoes — sliced
1.00 thick slices white bread, crusts removed — cubed

50.00 g cheddar cheese — grated

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF).
Turn the spaghetti into the bottom of one large dish or two smaller dishes.
Sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil until soft and spoon over the spaghetti.
Top with the cubed bully beef, followed by the tomato slices. Season every layer well with salt and pepper as well as origanum or sweet basil.
Sprinkle the bread cubes on top and brush with a little oil. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the bread cubes are pale brown.
Serve with a salad and tomato sauce, if desired.
