Pasta and mushroom dish

    egg ribbon noodles

    oil
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 125
    g
    bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 250
    g
    fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 125
    ml
    cream
  • 100
    g
    Cheddar cheese, grated
  • salt
  • pepper
  • origanum
 

Method

 
Cook the noodles in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until just soft. Add the bacon and fry until slightly crisp. Add the mushrooms and sauté until most of the liquid has evaporated. Add the cream and cheese, season to taste and heat through. Pour over the pasta and serve immediately. Serves 4.
