Pasta and ham casserole

    shell noodles
  • 850
    ml
    boiling water
  • 10
    ml
    salt
  • 10
    ml
    oil
  • 410
    g
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 5
    ml
    mustard powder
  • 125
    g
    ham, cubed
  • 125
    g
    fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • salt
  • pepper
  • chopped parsley
  • 100
    g
    grated Cheddar cheese
 

Method

 
Place the shell noodles, salt and oil in a fairly large glass bowl, stir and cook for 10 minutes on 100 per cent power. Remove from the oven and stir with a fork. Cover and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Drain the pasta and return it to the glass bowl. Mix the cream of mushroom soup with the mustard powder and add it to the drained noodles along with the ham and mushrooms. Season with salt, pepper and parsley to taste. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and microwave for about 5 minutes on 100 per cent power or until the dish is heated through. Serve immediately.
