Ingredients (7)

60.00 ml fresh chillies — 573
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
30.00 ml onion — minced
12.00 Roma tomatoes — peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper
250.00 ml fresh basil — torn
pasta

Method:

Heat oil in a heavy-based saucepan over medium heat.
Sauté garlic until golden, and discard it. Sauté onion in pan until translucent, 3 to 4 minutes.
Add tomatoes and season to taste. Cook over high heat for 3 minutes. Stir in basil and cook for another minute.
Serve with pasta.
