    quantity standard butter cake mixture (see recipe)
  • 10
    ml
    grated lemon zest
  • 250
    ml
    mascarpone cheese
  • 25
    ml
    honey
  • 115
    g
    granadilla pulp
 

Method

30 min
 
Preheat oven to 180 ºC. Prepare cake according to standard butter cake method (see recipe). Fold in grated lemon zest. Pour mixture into a greased and lined 20 cm square baking tin. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, or until cooked through. Allow cake to cool in the tin for 10 minutes. Remove from tin and cool completely on a rack. Stir mascarpone cheese and honey together and spread over the top of the cake. Drizzle with spoonfuls of granadilla pulp and refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes a 20 cm square cake.
